KOOSH Club

The Before and After School Care Program has been operating at Kananook since 1996. It is staffed by child care workers appointed by the School Council. We run a 35 place program with approximately 25 children per session.

It operates in the large self-contained area of the school hall complete with its own:

• Indoor toilets
• Meals area
• Carpeted recreation area
• Kitchen
• Air-conditioning system (cooling and heating)

KOOSH operates an Active After School Program as well as a Homework club.

Approximately 15 students use the program before school and up to 30 students use the after school care facility.

Hours: 7am - 9am and end of school till 6.30pm

Charges are very reasonable as a result of the Child Care Benefit rebate available to anyone under $130,000 p.a.
