Child Safe Policy
In accordance with the Government’s Ministerial Order No. 1359, Kananook Primary School is a Child Safe compliant organisation.
The school Council of Kananook Primary School emphasises that this school community has zero tolerance of child abuse in any form.
The School Child Safe Policy is available on line or from the office upon request; the policy document includes the school’s Code of Conduct, the process to be followed in the event of an incident and details of the roles and responsibilities of the school leadership team.
The School Child Safe Policy requires any suspected incident involving Child Safety be reported to the Child Safety Officer (Assistant Principal) or a member of the school leadership team. This can be done by contacting the school on 9786 6066 or by email - kananook.ps@edumail.vic.gov.au
