Family History

Our Family History unit has commenced!  The students have been so enthusiastic and engaged when sharing their personal stories about their families. Each week we are sending the journals home and we encourage you to chat to your children about the topics.  Simple notes are sufficient in the journals, please don't feel you need to go to too much effort. 

Here we see the 'Word Wall' created in Year One after the feedback from the journal questions.

We will also add your family photos to the wall so please be sure to send one in or email it through.

Mindfulness 

Here we can see the Year One students practicing their daily mindfulness strategies.  We use mindfulness daily at Kananook Primary School, a valuable life skill.
